Kabul: The first deputy of the Taliban’s prime minister said during the third anniversary of Doha agreement that Americans not only violates terms of Doha accord, but also create troubles to other countries for political and economic interaction with Afghanistan.
He also expressed criticism over the freezing of Afghan assets by the US, saying that Washington has acted against its promises after its pullout from Afghanistan.
He made the remarks at the gathering held to celebrate the third anniversary of the Doha agreement- which was signed on February 29th, 2021 between the US and the Taliban.
“It froze the assets of the people of Afghanistan illegally. Its further illegitimate action is that they kidnapped the rest of the world as well,” he said.
This comes as the Ministry of Economy (MoE) also called the suspension of the development aid by the US a violation of the Doha Agreement.
Mullah Baradar emphasized that the interim government is looking for positive interaction with the world.
