VP Saleh tasked to tackle corruption

KABUL: First Vice President Amrullah Saleh is given the responsibility to counter administrative corruptions at the government departments. Saleh in a statement said that President Ashraf Ghani handed over the task of combating administrative corruption to the morning session to provide tighter security and prevent fraudulence. The regular 6:30 morning session is chaired by VP Saleh.  

Saleh had also tasked Kabul security as it was utterly deteriorated with unprecedented insecurity incidents.

He said that tremendous steps would be taken in coordination with the related organizations to counter corruption. “In regards to countering corruption we will share the issues with you (public),” he added.

The security situation of Bagrami district of Kabul was discussed on Monday morning session, Saleh said, adding that perceptible reform would be made in the situation at the district.

While taking the responsibility for securing Kabul city, he assured the people of offering tremendous efforts to provide a tight security in the city. However, still Kabul is deadly with criminal activities, posing serious hurdles to the residents, is still very high.
