Woman gives birth to 6 babies in Herat

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A woman has given birth to six babies in a public hospital in western Herat province, said officials on Sunday.

Medical doctors at Regional Hospital of Herat said that every baby had one kilogram of weight.

The officials said the babies were born the other night and they included four boys and two girls. Three boys and one girl died due to oxygen problems but one girl and one boy are alive and are in good condition.

The mother who is 32 years old is reportedly in good health condition. She is from western Farah province and is already the mother of one.
