AT-KABUL: 25 Taliban insurgents were killed and 10 others were received injuries in different operations conducted by Afghan security forces during past 24 hours, officials said Saturday.
“Afghan National Army (ANA) in collaboration with Afghan National Police (ANP) and National Directorate of Security (NDS) has conducted operations against insurgents in different provinces such as Baghlan, Ghazni, Badghis and Kandahar. In these operations, 25 rebels were killed and 10 others were injured.
Unfortunately, four ANA soldiers also lost their lives in the offensive during exchange fires, the statement added. Furthermore, ANA also seized weapons of rebels at the side of operations, the statement concluded.
