Airstrikes kill 7 Daesh rebels in Nangarhar

AT News Report-KABUL: Following an airstrike in Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province, seven Daesh terrorists were killed, officials said on Friday.

Afghan air forces targeted a Daesh sanctuary in Pekhi Baghdara area of Achin district on Thursday night, said Hazrat Hussain Mashraqiwal, provincial police spokesman. He added that ادseven Daesh insurgents were killed in the incident. Civilians and Afghan forces suffered no casualties.

On the other hand, Gula Jan Shinwari, a resident of the area, said he heard bombardment but he had no information about casualties.

Daesh terrorist group did not comment on the incident so far.
