AT-KABUL: Six people died when a car turned turtle in Chak district of Miadan Wardak province.
A media statement from the provincial governor office said that the incident took place in Ghanikhel area of the district, when a corolla model car turned turtle. “The car turned turtle on a bridge and fell in a river,” the statement added.
Afghan troops and local residents recovered all the dead bodies drowned in the river.
Such incidents are mostly being blamed on reckless driving and poor quality of roads.
It is worth mentioning that during winter season traffic accidents usually soar across the country.
