Husband accused of killing wife detained in Kabul

KABUL: Kabul police has detained a man accused of killing his wife in Kabul, the capital city.

The accused killer is Jawid resident of Shahrak Kamyab area of 17th PD, Kabul Police Disk said in a statement on Tuesday. “The husband is accused of murdering his wife inside their house on Monday.”

Police in an immediate move detained the suspect from the area, according to the statement.

Husband confessed to his crime, and the case is under investigation.

However, motivation behind killing his wife is yet to be known, the statement added.
