Kabul, Doha signed MoU on educational cooperation

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding cooperation in education sector was signed on Wednesday with Qatar.

Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that the MoU was signed by the Minister of Education and Higher Education Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al-Hammadi who is also Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council of Qatar and Afghanistan’s Minister of Education Assad Hanif Balkhi. The Afghan minister is on visit to Qatar.

Al-Hammadi and Balkhi during the meeting shed lights on aspects of mutual cooperation between the two countries in the area of education.

The MoU deal with aspects of mutual cooperation between the two countries and the exchange of expertise, experiences and visits as well as the best practices in the education sector, QNA reported.

The meeting was attended by Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Doha Dr. Muhammad Qasim Himmat and a number of officials from the Supreme Education Council.
