MoI vows increased crackdowns on Taliban

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that it has devised state-of-the-art plans to counter terror. Under the new plans crackdowns on Taliban would be increased.

To ramp up military operations and night raids the ministry aimed at bringing Special Forces in military operations.

MoI spokesman, Sediq Sediqqi told media that military operations in cooperation with foreign troops will be launched soon in different parts of the country. “Night raids will be increased and Special Forces would be involved in more military operations,” he said.

A security affairs analyst opined the government has been pursuing a flawed security policy.

Attiqullah Amarkhail, a security affairs analyst told Tolonews that there was no coordination among the different security institutions. “Challenges will multiply given that the government doesn’t revamp its security strategies,” he warned.
