AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The Russian Embassy in Kabul has launched scholarship program for staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
Russian Ambassador Alexander Mantytskiy said that it is the first time Russia has launched such program in recent history of Afghan-Russia relations.
Russian Embassy in Kabul held a ceremony to mark such considerable event.
During the ceremony organized at the Russian embassy the other day Mantytskiy said that such programs help boost up ties between the two countries and also the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The Director General of Institute of Diplomacy Dr. Moheb Spinghar during the ceremony appreciated the Russian Federation’s efforts.
He said that the program has a vital role in improving the skills of the diplomatic staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The group of 10 diplomats from various departments of the Foreign Ministry is scheduled to leave Kabul for Moscow on November 15, local media said. The group of diplomats will attend a two-week advanced training courses in the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
