Suicide blast injures 16 civilians in Logar

AT-KABUL: A suicide bomb blast wounded 16 civilians in central Logar province on Saturday, said an official source.

A press statement issued by the provincial governor office said that the incident took place in Pul-e-Alam, the capital city of Logar province. “The suicide bomber was identified by police in the province. Thus, he detonated his explosive before reaching his target,” it added.

The statement said that all the victims of the incident were civilians.

The real target of the suicide blast is not clear yet.

An official in province said that four of the wounded persons are in critical health condition.
