17 Daesh fighters killed in Nangarhar

AT News Report-KABUL:More than 17 Daesh fighters were killed during ground and ferial raids in eastern Nangarhar province over the past days.

Afghan forces conducted air and ground clearance operation against Daesh fighters in LoiPaian, Camp Paian and Gorgori areas in Haska Mina district in the past 24 hours, said a press statement issued by Nangarhar Provincial press office.

Statement said that during crackdown 17 Daesh fighters were killed.

The mentioned areas mostly cleared from Daesh, added statement.

Statement stated that crackdown going on in order to completely clear the area from Daesh.

Unfortunately during operation casualty incurred to the civilian as well, where one 60 years old civilian were killed and five others including a women and four children were wounded during air strike in the area, mentioned statement.

Also one woman is missing after the operation, said statement.

The wounded people were shifted to nearby hospital and their health reported well, underlined the statement.
