AT-KABUL: At least twenty-two Daesh militants, also known as Islamic State (IS) rebels, including some Pakistani fighters, have been killed during operations in Nazyan, and Lalpura districts of eastern Nangarhar province, provincial official said.
Provincial governor spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News that seven Pakistani militants were among killed rebels in Bela area of Lalpura district late on Friday night.
Nine AK-47 guns were also seized by security forces who endured no losses during offensive.
According to Khogyani, in Nazyan, 15 Daesh militants were killed, and their two hideaways demolished in a US forces drone strike in Speenzai area of the district last night.
The Taliban, and Daesh terrorist groups didn’t say anything about the operation so far.
