26 New COVID-19 Cases, Two Deaths Reported in Past 24 Hours

KABUL: Afghanistan has recorded 26 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths in the past 24 hours, said the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Monday.

The total tally since the outbreak of the epidemic has reached to 55,759 cases around the country since the spread of the virus started nearly one year ago.

According to the ministry, the news cases were reported out of 1,343 suspected samples tested in the same period of time.

Another 11 patients have fully recovered from the virus this period of time.

The total recoveries have exceeded to 49,344 and the deaths to 2,446 around the country.
