3 killed in Kabul suicide attack on AGO employees

AT-KABUL: Three persons killed and 18 wounded when a suicide bomber targeted staff’s vehicle of the Attorney General Office (AGO) on Sunday afternoon for the second time in less than a week, an official said.

Humayoun Aini, 119 police chief, said the incident took place at 4:15 pm around centauriem area of 6th Police District of capital Kabul. “Three people including a woman were killed and 18 were injured” he said.

A similar attack struck AGO’s vehicle last Monday morning killing three persons and injuring 21 others.

As usual, Taliban claimed credit for the incident with the group’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid twitted that militants carried out the attack. He said 18 attorneys were killed and seven were injured.
