Two asylum seekers detained over rape of a girl in Germany

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Two Afghan asylum seekers have been arrested over rape charge of a girl in German, just days after deportation of at least eight people convicted of various crimes, including rape incident, it has been reported.

According to the source, the two Afghans aged 27 and 18, raped a 16 years old girl in Bavaria area near to a shelter house of the asylum seekers.

Another Afghan, aged around 17 years old was detained on charges of attempting to rape a girl.

This comes as the minister of interior for Germany’s Bavaria state Joachim Herrmann recently informed regarding the expulsion of at least Afghan asylum seekers to Kabul.

According to Herrmann, the men were convicted of various crimes including rape incidents with at least two of them being involved in the assault.
