Mohammad Asif Waziri, the spokesman of the Taliban Police Command in Balkh Province, said in a Media Statement that the explosion occurred at around 11:30 a.m when journalists were celebrating the National Journalist’s Day at Tabian Cultural Center.
According to Reports form Balkh province: the incident occurred this morning during a ceremony honoring Journalists in the Tebyan Cultural Center. Several members of the center and journalists were killed and 3 children were injured.
