Afghanistan people face dire situation, says WFP  


Kabul: The World Food Program announced that life is unbearable for most Afghans, especially women and girls in Afghanistan.

The organization tweeted that it has helped more than 10 million women through its support program.

The World Food Program recently announced that 9 out of 10 Afghans do not have enough food to eat.

This UN affiliated organization has said that currently 9 out of 10 people cannot get enough food and parents are not able to provide healthy food for their children.

On the other hand, the Red Cross had warned about the situation of the Afghan people in the coming winter.

Red Cross spokesperson Lucien Christian tweeted, that Red Cross will continue to support the people of Afghanistan.

He added, at the same time as the need for humanitarian aid increases and winter is approaching, Afghanistan needs help more than ever.

Earlier, the International Committee of the Red Cross announced that poverty is a serious threat to the citizens of Afghanistan, and added that “More investment is needed in Afghanistan to prevent further deterioration of the situation.”

According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, tens of thousands of people in Afghanistan have lost their jobs and are facing many problems if there is no global aid.
