AT-KABUL: The Counter Narcotics Police reported of the arrest of a drug lord in Kabul.
The smuggler was detained in the Pule-Charkhi neighborhood as the result of pre-planned operation by the Counter Narcotics Police, it said, without providing details about the drug lord’s identity.
According to a statement sent to the media, the smuggler was involved in multiple cases of smuggling and had dossiers in the relevant administrations.
Also the Counter Narcotics Police arrested six smugglers of narcotic in Herat province with some drug. The detained suspects attempted to take the drug with weapon to the Herat jail.
Police seized confiscated 13,435 kilograms of opium, 4,832 kilograms of hashish, 1,200 kilograms of heroin and one pistol with 443 bullets.
