Farah to get university

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Governor of Farah province, Mohammad Asif Nang, laid down the foundation stone for construction of new university in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, he said that this is a pleasant moment for him to lay the foundation stone of Farah University. “I hope this university would present cadres on national and international levels,” he added. Provincial spokesman, Jawad Ahmad, said that the university students were currently studying in a temporally arranged building. He told Khaama press that these students would be relocated after completion of the construction work over the new university. He further said that the construction would cost Afs41.6 million. Funds had been provided by the Afghan government from its budget.
