Five killed in roadside bomb blast in southern Afghanistan

AT-KABUL: At least five civilians have been killed when their vehicle blew up by a roadside bomb in southern province of Kandahar.

Kandahar governor spokesman, Samim Khpalwak, said four other people were also wounded in the blast that took place in Shahwalikot district early on Tuesday.

No group including Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, which took place as the Taliban ramps up its annual spring offensive launched last month against Afghan forces.
