Kabul: The Afghan local authorities and news sources from Kandahar province are reporting today Thursday that there has been a renewed clash between the Pakistani military and Afghan border forces at the Spin-Boldak border crossing in Kandahar province.
The local officials of the in Kandahar say that the conflict took place at around 11:30 a.m. today in the “Shir Ab” area of the “Afghanistan-Pakistan Friendship Gate” and is still going on.
These local officials add that the conflict started when Afghan border forces wanted to establish a checkpoint along the border.
According to Pakistan media at least 12 people including two women were injured and person was killed during this clash.
This is the second incident of cross-border conflict between two neighboring countries during this week.
Early on Sunday this week, following the attempt of Afghanistan border forces to establish a checkpoint along the border, there was a deadly clash between the Pakistani military and the border forces of Afghanistan.
