Kabul: The former president of Afghanistan once again emphasized for reversing ban on women’s work and education in his Eid al-Fitr message.
The former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, in his message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, once again asked the interim government to reverse the ban on women’s work and education in the country.
According to Mr. Karzai, an educated generation will save the country from dependency on foreigners and help the nation to live a prosperous, dignified and peaceful life.
He has also emphasized on the immediate start of the national discourse in order to ensure stable peace in the country.
It has been almost two years since the re-establishment of caretaker government in Afghanistan, and they had imposed restrictions on women, including the right to work and education.
