Massoud says Ghani administration ‘illegitimate’ after June

KABUL: Ahmad Wali Massoud, a political figure and critic to the national unity government says that the government would lose its legitimacy after June, offering an interim government to fill political vacuum.

Massoud who is also a runner in the president race, said Monday that the government was not determined to hold a timely election and thinks of extension of power.

He added that the peace process was out of government control and government’s efforts are made just to prolong its term.
