KABUL: A mortar shelling targeted a residence in Sabri district of the southeastern province, killing two children and wounding four others, security official said on Wednesday.

 A provincial security official, Najib Ahmad Najib said that the incident occurred on Tuesday night Yaub area of the district.

He blamed the Taliban for the attack. According to Najib, this has been the second mortar hit the residence of the people, in which, the civilians suffer casualties. This comes as two people were wounded in a blast took place in PD 8th of capital city of Kabul. Kabul police spokesman, Ferdaws Faramarz said that a magnetic mine targeted a Hilux model car in Mayobin town of Kart-e-Naw.
