Over 300kg of hashish recovered in Baghlan

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Security forces have seized more than 300 kilograms of hashish in northern Baghlan province, officials said on Saturday.

According to security officials police from the counternarcotics department of the police headquarters of Baghlan stopped a vehicle in Mal Khan area of the northern part of Salang Highway.

Acting police chief of Baghlan, Colonel Abdul Rashid Bashir, said police recovered 309 kilograms of hashish from the truck.

He said the vehicle was heading from Tala-o-Barfak district of Baghlan to the capital city, Kabul.
