Taliban clashes with ISIS in capital Kabul

Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Taliban, informed about the operation of the security forces on an ISIS hideout in the east of Kabul. He said that in this operation, 2 ISIS members were arrested and 6 others were killed, including those who attacked the Kaj education center.

Mujahid wrote in a tweet: “Two members of Daesh group were arrested in the west of Kabul yesterday, and later the forces of the Islamic Emirate launched an operation on a hideout of this group in the eighth security area of Kabul, as a result of which six members of Daesh were killed”.

It is said that the people killed were involved in the recent attacks on Wazir Akbar Khan Mosque, Kaj Education Center and other places where civilians were targeted.

Last night, local media sources from the Kabul informed about the occurrence of several explosions and shootings in the 8th district of the capital and announced that there is a strong conflict in this area.

Meanwhile, Mujahid would also have said that the operation of the Taliban forces against Daesh was ongoing and the sound of gunfire would also be the reason for this conflict.

Despite the insistence of the Taliban on the impotence of Daesh in Afghanistan, this group has claimed responsibility for deadly explosions during which dozens of innocent civilians were killed.

In the latest series of deadly explosions in Afghanistan, an explosion took place in an educational center in Kabul on the morning of Friday 30th of September, killing and injuring more than a hundred people, mostly girls.

The local media reported the death toll of the attack on the Kaj School in the west of Kabul as 53 martyrs.
