AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Sunday said that the Taliban shadow district chief for Dor Baba was arrested along with his colleagues in Nangarhar province.
According to a press statement issued here, the NDS operatives detained the shadow district chief Abdul Qahar and his five comrades during an operation in Ghanikhil district of Nangarhar.
The shadow district chief and his fighters were involved in different terror and subversive activities in Nangarhar province. Three AK-47, three pistols and one handgrenade were also recovered, added the statement.
The detained Taliban fighters confessed that they were involved in anti-state activities.
