While talking about presence of the Islamic State (IS) fighters in Afghanistan, Ulumi said that the group has no place in Afghanistan. “The IS cannot gain a foothold in Afghanistan and our security forces will spare no efforts to prevent from activities of the terrorist group in Afghanistan,” he assured.

The comments came at a time that recently ISIS, also known as Daesh, has mounted its activities in various provinces of Afghanistan.
