27 Taliban killed in Helmand

AT-KABUL: At least 27 Taliban fighters were killed and eight others wounded during an operation conducted by Afghan forces in southern Helmand Province in the past 24 hours, provincial office said Sunday.

Afghan forces conducted ground operation and airstrike in Chamirza area of Nadali district, which as result 24 Taliban were killed and three others wounded, said a press statement issued by Provincial press office.

Similar in three Taliban killed and five other wounded during an operation conducted by Afghan forces in Nahr-e-Seraj and Marja districts of Helmand mentioned the statement.

Numbers of Taliban vehicle and motorbike were destroyed during operation as well, underlined the statement.
