AT-KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned Saturday’s “coward terrorist attack” on the Enlightening Movement protest in which dozens of people were killed and wounded.
“Targeting civil movements which is the right of everyone, is an act against humanity and also against Islamic teachings,” Karzai said.
He called the attack as the frank effort of the aliens to divide people, asking Afghans to maintain their unity especially in such painful situations and not let the enemies to reach their inauspicious goals by dividing people.
The former president prayed for the martyrs of the attack and wished speedy recovery for the injured.
