KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai expressed regrets over flash floods that killed tens of people in the eastern province of Nooristan.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the former president wished paradise for the dead and patience for their families.

The flooding swept the district of Kamdesh in which tens of people went missing and a great number of houses and farmlands were destroyed.
