Kabul: A blast occurred Wednesday morning in the Silo Markazi area of PD 5 in the capital city of Kabul, according to the residents.

The residents said that the blast targeted a transport vehicle that was carrying the employees of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.

Khaled Zadran, the spokesman of the Kabul police, says that eight people were injured in an explosion in a car carrying employees of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the fifth security area of Kabul city.

According to him, the explosion was caused by a roadside mine and the injured were taken to the hospital.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.
