KABUL: Police authorities said Monday that firearms and ammunition have been seized in an operation targeting terrorist cells in Kabul city.
Kabul police have discovered and confiscated one AK-47 rifles, four boxes of PK bullets, three boxes of AK-47 bullets, three boxes of RPGs and one box of grenade launcher rounds during an operation in capital Kabul, said a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior (MoI).
Statement said that the ammunitions and weapon recovered from a residence in the vicinity of the 10th police district of the city.
No one was arrested in connection with possession of the firearms.
