Kabul: Speaking about the recent tensions in Panjshir province of Afghanistan, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran expressed that these military and internal conflicts prevent the formation of an inclusive government in the country.

Iran’s state news agency reported on Monday, 28 September, that Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of Iran’s foreign ministry, made these statements in response to a question on a video circulating on the media of shooting prisoners of war by the Islamic Emirate forces.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran said that his country does not support any military force in Afghanistan.

Kanani stressed that they maintain their relationship with the Islamic Emirate and its opponents.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense informed about the investigation in this regard after the distribution of clips in the social networks regarding shooting of war prisoners in Panjshir province by the forces of the Islamic Emirate. He emphasized that if this claim is proved; the culprits will be arrested and handed over to the law.
