Kabul: Former President Hamid Karzai has met with Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Bahadur Aminian in Kabul and exchanged views on various topics of mutual interest including peace and stability in Afghanistan.

The meeting focused on the situation in Afghanistan and the region, and the former president welcomed Iran’s position at various meetings on peace, stability and prosperity in Afghanistan, according to Karzai’s press office.
