AT-KABUL: Head of Defense Committee of UK parliament, Rory Stewart, called on the ex-President Hamid Karzai here on Sunday.
British ambassador to Kabul and members of Firozkoh institute were also present on the occasion, who appreciated the support of Hamid Karzai and the UK’s Prince Charles to the institute. They urged the ex-president for his continued support to the institute in the future.
It is worth mentioning that Prince Charles recently sent a letter to Hamid Karzai, where he lauded the former president’s support to Firozkoh institute.
Karzai thanked the members of Firozkoh and pledged to continue his support to the organization. He termed Prince Charles as a good supporter of the institute.
Members of the institute granted a desk, made in Firozkoh, to Hamid Karzai as a gift from Prince Charles. The institute also bestowed a souvenir on the Afghan ex-president for his support in the past.
